These quilted ornaments were hand stitched in Kenya, by women enrolled in the Quilts for Empowerment vocational training program for fistula survivors. Each item is one of a kind, made from African fabric and sewn together with embroidery floss.

Every ornament features a unique and colorful design and is packaged in a greeting card with information about the Quilts for Empowerment program that we can fill out and send, on your behalf. Ornaments are also accompanied by a small tag that is signed by the recovering fistula patient who sewed the item.
