Why Do We Work in Chad?
With the possible exception of Afghanistan, no other country on Earth suffers such a tragic incidence of the underlying causes of fistula. Sadly, an enormous backlog of untreated fistula patients exists — far in excess of the country's treatment capacity. The Fistula Foundation is funding a comprehensive project led by our capable partners at Women and Health Alliance International to help an important hospital in Chad treat significantly more fistula patients.
